Ingredients

1. 1 cup Urad dal (Biri)

2. 1/2 cup Rajnia

3. 1 cup mixed dal (Bengal gram, Masur, Mong whole)

4. 1 tsp butter

5. 2 big onions

6. 7/8 flakes garlic

7. 1 piece ginger

8. 6-7 green chilies

9. 200 gm tomato

10. 1 tsp turmeric

11. 1 tsp red chili powder

12. 1 tsp jeera, hing

13. Salt as desired

14. Ghee for seasoning.

Method

ADVERTISEMENTS:

Wash and clean dais. Add water, turmeric, salt, garlic, ginger, green chilies. Boil dais till tender. When cooled add butter and keep on slow fire. When butter mixes well with the dais season in ghee, jeera, hing and tomatoes. Serve hot with Chapattis, Rice or Nan. Protein content – Urad dal, Rajma, mixed dal.
