What are the recent trend on location of office building?

The location of office building is the first and foremost consideration of office manager because an unsuitable location of the office may result in much wastage of efforts and loss of time. There cannot be an ideal for location of office building. The location of office building largely depends on the nature of the business. The office manager has to select whether the office will be situated in an urban or semi-urban location.

The trend has been to select location in an urban area because these are connected with various methods of communication and provide a lot of recreational facilities to the employees. Because of this trend banks, insurance companies and large trading houses prefer urban location. But the new trend of location is to move far away from urban areas to suburban areas to attain lowest cost of operation and availability of cheap labour.
