What are the duties of office supervisors?

The job of intelligent overseeing the subordinates is called supervision and the person who is entrusted with such assignment is called a supervisor. The supervisor performs the following functions:

(a) He has to ensure that the work is done according to the standards prescribed.

(b) He ensures maximum utilisation of the available resources.

(c) He ensures that the works are performed according to the plans and policies of the organization.

(d) He has to help subordinates in solving their problems.

(e) He has to correct the subordinates wherever they go wrong.
