What is the Role of a Teacher During Examination?

In any examination pattern teacher plays a vital role in conducting the examinations properly. Pre-exams and post-exams the teacher is the only authority who is most responsible untill the result is declared.

Teacher is responsible for oral test, practicals, projects, unit test and assignments for evaluation and overall performance of students:

(i) Teachers should set the question paper well in time, get them type and proof read them to avoid typographical errors.

(ii) Teachers should respect invigilation schedule and abide by it.

(iii) In case of an emergency they should inform examination in charge to avoid last minute hassles.

(iv) Proper instructions have to be typed on question paper to avoid any confusion.

(v) Concerned teacher should take a round when the examination is going on.

(vi) A teacher should check papers on time and give the feedback promptly.
