Rapid rate of urbanization, industrialization and modernization since decades have given birth to degradation of environment and lot of problems going with it, there by endangering the human sustainability on this earth.
As the pollution of environment have caused by race of development in unsustainable manner, world countries have been concerned for its consequences like global warming, acid rain, flood, drought, ozone hole, sea level changes soil degradation, desertification etc.
All these consequences have posed a question against the existence of human being in near future if the rate of environment is continue to this level.
Now, Since 1970’s there has arouse widespread awareness concerning sustainable development and environment protection. The efforts are done through various summit conferences, agreements pacts and treaties.
