What were guidelines forwarded by education commission of Indian to enhance the supervision of schools

Recommendation to improve school supervision:

(a) Administration should be separate from supervision.

(b) Recognition should not be a matter of course but should be continuously earned by every school, irrespective of its management.

(c) Every school should have two types of inspections, i.e., an annual and triennial or quadrennial and also the provision of guidance and extension service to schools is one of the major responsibilities of the new supervision.

(d) In service training should be provided for all supervisory and administrative as well as Headmasters should be selected carefully and specially trained. They should have necessary authority and freedom.
