The All India Organisation of Employers was set up in 1933 as an apex body of employers by FICCI. Its main objectives are:

(i) To regulate labour management relations;

(ii) To nominate employers, representatives at tripartite meetings;

(iii) To protect and promote the legitimate interests of employers.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

AIOE seeks to protect the employers against the growing power of labour and increasing government intervention. It organises education, training and research activities.

It sends its representatives for participation in international organisations. In addition to the protection of employers through collective action, it also works for the stability and growth of the country.
