Selection test

The basic assumption underlying the use of test in personnel selection is that individuals are different in their Job related abilities and skills, and that these skills, can be adequately and accurately measured. Tests seek to eliminate the possibility that the prejudice of tine interviewer or supervisor, instead of potential ability will govern selection decisions. The other major advantage is that the tests may uncover qualifications and talent that would not be detected by interviews or by listings of education and job experience.
