What are the functions of the School Doctor?

So as to make medical inspection effective and meaningful, fol­lowing duties should be performed by the school doctor.

1. To examine all the students of the school properly and regularly.

2. To get all sick students examined by the doctor carefully.

3. To segregate infection affected students and moron students from normal students and to pay special attention to their treatment and education.

4. To Prepare report relating to diseases, physical development of each student.

5. To find out infectious diseases to prevent them.

6. To inspect about environment of school and to advise about its betterment.

7. To inspect dispensary of school and working of nurse.

8. To make arrangement for the treatment of poor students.
