My favourite book is Aesop’s Fables. Last year my father bought me a copy of Aesop’s Fables from the Book Fair. It is an illustrated book containing a number of interesting fables. The short stories are really extremely attractive.

They are told mainly about the animals that talk and behave like human beings in the animal kingdom of all the animals, the fox is said to be the cleverest animal, and of the birds, the crow is a sly bird. The lion is portrayed with a large heart as the king of the beasts.

Each tale has a significant moral in it. We enjoy reading these simple stories and learn the inner moral that increases our knowledge.

The beautiful illustrations covering many pages of the book help the readers to understand the tales better and easier from the characters that are created in them. I have read the book again and again with great interest. Even now, when I am free, I am inclined to have a look at my favourite book to remember the various good and bad characters which are familiarly described in the stories.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

Now I can tell some of the tales from Aesop’s Fables to my grandma and my little friends and amuse them considerably.
