It is difficult to say whether Hitler had any definite foreign policy or not.

However, the aims of his foreign policy were:

(a) to restore the armed strength of Germany,

(b) To annul the Treaty of Versailles

(c) To extend the German territory to include all Germans

(d) Expansion towards eastern and south-eastern Europe which he called Lebensraum. With these aims in view Hitler proceeded to formulate his foreign policy.

(1) Germany withdrew from the Disarmament Conference and from the League.

(2) In 1934 German-Polish Friendship Pact was signed.

(3) In 1936 Rome-Berlin Axis was signed and soon after the Anti-Comintern Pact was signed with Japan Thereafter Europe was on the downward slope towards War.
