Write a letter to the Police Station, reporting about a theft that took place in your house

Last night there took place a theft of utensils worth about Rs.2000 from our kitchen at the ground floor of our house. It is understood that our maid servant forgot to lock the door of the kitchen at night before going to bed.

It seems that the thief climbed the boundary wall, and made easy access to the kitchen. At the moment, we cannot truly suspect any one in this regard. So we request you to make investigations, arrest the culprit, and recover the goods.
