The rural factionalism, being one on the major problems needs urgent attention and efforts at all levels for its eradication.

Different kinds of land disputes in rural area should be settled and consolidation and settlement of land should be done in such a manner which will not hamper the major interest of villagers. Canals for irrigation facilities should be dug in public land so that the factions arising out of irrigation issues can be avoided. Further, the canals or the distributaries channels which flow through the private and should be declared as public land by the revenue authorities of the Government.

The institutions which are opening up in the name of development of rural areas should remain above the party politics and the personnel’s who are employed for the implementation of development programme should remain a loot from politicians and village touts, and they should discharge their duties strictly in accordance with the provisions as laid down by the Government and with the spirit of help and service.

Both formal and non formal education should be provide to the villagers to make them conscious and well aware of the evil effects of factionalism and importance of community loving in the way of national programme.

Efforts would be taken by governmental and non governmental agencies to abolish the evils of casteism which has been a perennial source of factionalism. Religious and moral values should be in calculated among the villagers so that they will develop the feeling of universal brotherhood. If such measures will be effectively implemented, definitely factionalism can be minimised to a great extent.
