The reasons which paved the way for the Nazis to power were many,

First; the Weimar Republic that was established after the end of the World War I was unsuccessful as it met economic chaos, and political instability.

Second, Hitler’s active policy appealed to the demobilized soldiers, the unemployed soldiers and to those who lost their wealth and hopes in the post-war economic chaos.

Third, the dream of German domination set forth by Hitler appealed to the distressed German people.

Fourth, by the formation of Hitler youth. Hitler won the support of the new generation of Germans.

Fifth, Hitler declared that the German people were one and an undivided nation. This brought an end to regional feeling amongst the Germans and helped loyalty to the Nazi leader.

Sixth, Hitler organised the Nazis into a strong and devoted machine that the Germans in general could not ignore. The Germans found in them the capability to revive the power of Germany.
