India is the country of various religion, cultures and different-different atmosphere. Besides all the countries of the world, India is very rich not only in the context of its culture but it also has a great and powerful platform of economics.

India is the cultural hub of the world. Because of its ancient religious history, size, diversity and population, India really is an amazing country. It is also known as the centre of Hindu civilization. There are many cultural and religious sites, temples monuments etc. related with different religious and culture all over India. So infect India has a glorious magnificent cultural ground.

India is deep-rooted in the culture of her past, the glorious past. Her culture is essentially religious and spiritualism is the basis of this great culture. Religion is our soul and philosophy is in our blood. India is the mother of different races, languages, philosophies, religions, cultures. In India there are so many races and they regularly enhance its glory and pride. Sanskrit is mother of languages and it is the oldest language of the world and works of this language is still very important and have great significance and they are also consider as the treasure of knowledge.

India also has the great prestigious place in the field of mathematics. India is also known for having so much religion. In India, there were so many religious philosophies born and flourished. They not only enhanced the cultures platform of India but also gave the unity to it. The continuity and vitality of Indian culture is amazing, indeed. ‘The Indus Valley civilization’ represents a very perfect adjustment of human life to specific environment that can only have resulted from years of patient effort.

Mohanjodaro is the right instance of India’s glorious civilisation. The houses and streets of this ancient city is very well managed and exist over five thousand years ago  and even then it was an old and well developed civilization. There seemed to him something unique about the continuity of a cultural tradition through five thousand years of history, of invasion and upheaval, a tradition which was wide spread among the peoples and powerfully influenced them.

A large number of foreign races invaded our country and tried to destroy its culture, but could not succeed. Men like Mohammad Ghaznavi looted the temples (Holy Somnath is one of them) and razed the whole country to the ground. But as soon as they departed, everything was re-built. Greeks, Huns, Persian and Mongols came to our country from time-to-time, but had no effect. The Arabs conquered Sindh, and the Mughals ruled over thousands year. But our culture remained unaffected. Of course they influenced our nation but our cultural basis was strong enough to endure.

We, Indians have the developing materialistic attitude, but we are also not neglects the moral aspect of life. We strongly believe in Dharma. Another remarkable aspect of the Indian way of life is its firm belief in peace and non-violence. In the past, our culture has received, adapted and digested elements of many different cultures.  India has never lost the pride of her cultural sublimate. Indian culture has proved its strength and maintained her vitality throughout.

Changing with the passage of time is the unique element of our culture. India must perish its useless cultural elements and not allow it to dominate the present. Only that which is vital and life-giving in that past, should be retained. In fact, the whole face of India is altering, but the cultural traditions continue and it will never back.
