Biomes

i. A biome is a very large ecosystem on land which has distinct types of vegetation and animal life.

ii. The assemblage of plant specific living in association with each other in a particular environmental framework is termed as vegetation.

iii. Though animals are an integral part of biomes, plant formations are the basis of their classification.
