The scope of the House listing was considerably expanded with modification of some existing questions and introduction of new questions on requirements of data users. A list of some new items included in the House list Schedule is provided in the following:
1. Condition of the residential census household good, livable or dilapidated as perceived by the respondent.
2. Number of married couples in the household.
3. Information on whether waste water outlet of the house was connected to “closed drainage”, “open drainage” or has no drainage.

4. Information on availability of bathroom, and kitchen within the house.
5. Availability of certain assets to the household, namely, radio/transistor, television, telephone, bicycle, scooter/motor cycle/moped, car/jeep/van.
6. Information on whether any banking service was being availed of by the household.
Almost all the questions in the house listing Schedule had preceded options which helped in collecting data easily and also helped in quick tabulation.
