In brief, an organisational chart depicts the chief executive, the line of authority and responsibility, the supervisor —subordinate relationship and the span of control by the supervisors. Organisation chart contains information on the structure of the organisation, flow of authority, spheres of responsibility, line and staff relations and name and status of personnel in different positions.
