I am an old student of your school. I passed my Senior Secondary Examination this year. The original certificates are yet to reach. I need a provisional certificate as I have to apply for a job in the Railway Department.

I may state certain facts for your convenience. I joined the 10th class under 10 + 2 system in 19. I passed my Senior Secondary Examination securing 750 marks and stood first in the school. I was a member of the school cricket eleven.

I was a good singer also. I win many prizes for the school. I always obeyed my teachers. I was in the good books of all the teachers.

The fact is that I had a very good time at school. I miss you and my teachers. I would have come personally, but I am unwell. Please excuse me for the trouble that I am giving you.

Kindly send the provisional character certificate at your earliest. I shall be thankful to you for this act of kindness.
