Every want needs a solution. Since man’s very birth on this planet he has been facing necessities at every point. And to fulfill those necessities he has been investing lots of energy and devices.
When he feels hungry, he searches for food and it impels him to do cultivation. If he does not arrange food he will die. Therefore, he can never rest till he gets food. Similarly, all the articles that are used in our daily life are the results of man’s efforts to remove his wants.
Nothing can be invented unless it is wanted. In winter people suffer from cold and to get protection from cold they think of warm clothes and blankets.
In past people exchanged their goods. It was known as barter system. Some people produced food grains and some others milk. Food grains and milk were exchanged among the people. But gradually people faced some difficulty. Milk could not be preserved for long.

Further, a very big thing can not be exchanged for very small object. Thus people felt the necessity of an intermediary object of substantial worth. Then money came to operation.
In the ancient past man had to depend upon stones to produce fire. It was a hard and labourious work for him. He needed some simple way of getting fire. This necessity resulted in the invention of match stick.
