Are cousins marriages allowed in India?
Marriage which generally takes place between father's brother's son/daughter with mother's brother's son/daughter or with father's sister's son/daughter or with mother's sisters son/daughter etc. is called cousin marriage. This type of marriage is followed by and large in some parts of Indian society.
