The meaning of education can be given in two ways: (i) narrow and (ii) broad. The narrow meaning points out a specific stage, e.g., pre-school education, school education, higher education and so on. It may also mean specific types of education like technical education, teacher education and adult education.
The broad meaning of education indicates any kind of learning experiences from birth to death of an individual. Education is regarded as life-long having no barriers of age, class, sex, time and place. Even a child can give an educational experience to the teacher and an old man can learn many new things in life.
