Difference between International Law and Municipal Law

International law is a set of generally accepted rules and regulation controlling the conduct of nation, international organization and individuals.

Municipal Law deals with relationship between the individuals and their organization with in a state. While each state has its own municipal laws, the international law is a common to all states and individual.

The international court of justice is charged with the responsibility of adjudicating the controversies arising under international law.
