Notes on the Legislative Assembly of India (Vidhan Sabha)
The Legislative Assembly is the lower chamber of the State Legislature. It is popularly known as Vidhan Sabha. The members of this House are directly' elected on the basis of adult suffrage from the territorial constituencies.
