Short note on Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV)
Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) is the simplest virus. It has a hollow rod-like structure with a helically coiled single stranded RNA surrounded by the protein coat (capsid). Capsid contains 2,130 capsomeres arranged helically around the central axis.
