Beyond organism level, there are still higher levels of organization. The following higher levels of organization can be recognized. Each organism is a member of a particular species. All the members or individuals of a particular species found in locality constitute a population. For example, you are an individual of the species Homo sapiens.
Atoms combine to form molecules. The latter are variously combined to form compounds. Such compounds can be found in both living and nonliving worlds. But in living matter the compounds are organized to form sub microscopically or microscopically visible structures called organelles (such as mitochondria, Golgi bodies, etc.)
Various kinds of organism living together in any habitat exhibit different types of interactions. Favorable climatic conditions and availability of suitable nutrients enable them to breed and flourish. The example of tropical forests can be taken here.
