After the death of Bahlol Lodi in 1489 AD, his son Sikandar Lodi ascended the throne. He introduced an instrument named ” Gaje-e-Slkandari” to measure the land. Ibrahim Lodi was the last ruler of the dynasty. Babur defeated Ibrahim Lodi in 1 -26 and founded the Mughal dynasty. Thus the Delhi Sultanate came to an end in 1526 AD.
