Quran mentions ninety-nine names of Allah, each relating some or the other attributes. When man errs Allah is indeed Muntaqim (the Avenger).
But along with being the Avenger, Allah is also al-Afu (the pardoner) and al-Tawab (the Acceptor of reper tance). Allah is ar-Raliman, the Beneficent, and ar-Rahini, the Merciful.
Allah is al-Mohaymin, the Protector; al-Ghaffar, the Forgiver; ar-Razzaq, the Provider; al-ghafur, the All-forgiving; al-Adl, the Just; al-Haq, the Truth; al-Barr, the Source of All Goodness; and an-Noor, the Light.
