I live in Delhi. It is the capital of India. Delhi is a centre of trade and commerce. It is a historical city. It has many beautiful monuments. The Red Fort and Jama Masjid were built by Shahajahan.
They are in Old Delhi. The Qutab Minar, the Old Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Safdarjung’s Tomb, Jantar Mantar etc. are old monuments. A large number of people visit these places every day.
The Parliament House and India Gate are the new buildings. Delhi is a great centre of education. There are many universities and colleges in Delhi. Students come from different parts of the world to study here.
Delhi has some very famous shopping centres like Chandni Chowk, Karol Bagh, Connaught Place, Ansal Plaza, Palika Bazaar etc. There are many five-star hotels in Delhi.
