A very interesting hockey match was played yesterday, it was played between our school team and D.A.V. School, and it was played on our school playground.
Many students came to see the match. The teams entered the ground at 4.45 p.m. The toss was in favour of our team. The referee blew the whistle. The match started at 5 p.m.
The game was very brisk from the beginning. Our team tried their best to score a goal but they could not succeed. The Captain of D.A.V. School hit the ball and was likely to score a goal. But it was saved by our goal-keeper.
The referee blew the whistle. It was interval. After the interval, the match started again. Both the teams tried their best to score goals. In the last minute of the game, D.A.V. School was given a penalty stroke. Their captain turned it into a goal. Our school team lost the match by one goal.
