Holi is a festival of colours. It is one of the most favourite festivals of Hindus. It is celebrated in the month of March. The celebration begins with the lighting up of bonfire on the eve of Holi. On the next day, people rub ‘gulal’ and ‘abeer’ on each others’ face and also throw balloons filled with coloured water. Many dishes are prepared on this day. This colourful festival brings happiness among people. People forget their enmity and play Holi together with love. The young, old and children play Holi with great fun and frolic.
