Short notes on the hormones secreted by Adenohypophusis

Six hormones are produced by the adenohypophysis. These are:

1 .Somatotrophic hormone (STH) or Growth hormone (GH)

2. Adenocarticotrophic hormone (ACTH)

3. Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)

4. Prolactin or Lactogenic hormone (LTH)

5. Gonadotropic hormone (GTH)

a. Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)

b. Luteinizing hormone (LH)
