Health education at Nursery schools refers to:-

1. Health related knowledge:

To provide health related information’s to children and teachers to protect and enhance their physical and mental health by making use of the knowledge. This knowledge is given directly and or indirectly.

2. Knowledge of Health Education for Teachers:

Without the thorough knowledge of health education, the teachers would neither be able to take care of their words nor would they be responsive to the health care of the children.

3. Fix the level of Health Education:

Health education aims at achieving the following goals in nursery schools –

(a) To fix the lowest acceptable level of child health and care.

(c) Basic understanding and treatment of children diseases.
