Brief Notes on the Importance of Co-curricular Activities for Nursery Students

1. Play way Activities:

Racing, catch the ball, bounce the ball, pulsing, paddling, thronging, jumping, swinging, walking, skipping, construction, play (building blocks), dolls house play, clay-modeling, water play, gardening, imaginative play.

2. Practical Life Activities:

Clearing teeth, hand and face, buttoning and lacing, combing hair, using handkerchief, clear personal things, shoes, clothes etc., opening and closing door.

3. Activities Promotion Motor Development:

Chopping, vegetables, fruits, peeling potatoes, shading trees and beans, arranging flower, dusting furniture’s, folding clothes and sweeping.

4. Activities for Language Development:

Conversation, recitation of rhymes, singing of songs, storytelling, dramatics, puppetry, listening to recorded of programmes.
