I was happy to learn that you have bagged the first prize in the Tilak Memorial Elocution Competition. However, I was not surprised at the news. Today women are distinguishing themselves in every field of life. Was not India ruled by a woman? Let me congratulate you on the laurel you have won.

What subject did you speak on? I know that several speeches at such competitions are penned by ghost-writers. However, I’m sure you wrote your speech yourself. Let me know all the details of the Competition-the other speakers, the judges, the reactions of the audience and so forth.
