My dear Brother,
We, the students of class-V, went on an excursion on last Saturday to see the old Portuguese Church on the bank of the Ganga. We travelled by a chartered bus under the escort of three of our class teachers.
The bus started at 7 A.M., and returned to the school at 6 P.M. on the same day. Our school bearer carried our Tiffin and packed lunch.
We were thirty students in the group. The church was, indeed, a splendid sight. The construction is unique. The glass windows have beautiful designs. There is a green lawn around the church. A small garden of flowers adds to the glamour of the church which was built sometime during the eighteenth century. We had taken our food on the bank of the river, sitting on the green grass.
