Will you kindly publish the following lines to promote public awareness regarding the hazards of smoking?

The following lines are statutorily written on each pack of cigarettes.

“Smoking is injurious to health.”

It is so because cigarettes contain tobacco. The nicotine element in tobacco is a strong poison. When a person smokes, he inhales this poisonous substance which can cause asthma or even lung cancer. Even a passive smoker can suffer from such an ailment.

So, let all of us take a vow never to smoke. Those of us who are chain-smokers should especially take the statutory warning seriously.
