Write a letter to the Director, suggesting some improvements in their programmes

Dear Sir,

I am a regular viewer of your programmes. Some of your programmes for instance, on Adult Education, are quite good. But many of the programmes have become stale and boring and need change.

Telecasting so many feature films in a week, when “Chitrahar” is also there, makes no sense. Some of the scenes in the films, in the “Chitrahar” and even in certain Ads are highly objectionable. These should be censored out. Telecasting cricket test matches frequently is another aberration.

As a nation, we have to advance boldly into the 21st century. As such, we now need more matured programmes for national construction than for mere entertainment. Much more attention should be given to students, programmes, health for all, child and women’s welfare and spread of scientific knowledge to eradicate superstition etc.
