Dear Vaibhav,

I am writing this letter to you to express my regret and sorrow over what passed between us a few days ago. The frenzy created by the ugly incident has now passed. I hope we are now much saner.

You would now agree with me that both of us were in the wrong. In fact, the whole thing was an outcome of misunderstanding which was created between us by Abhijat. Whatever be the reason.

I feel that we should now forget everything about the ugly incident and start afresh. Let by­gones be bygones.

We should not allow our long friendship and rela­tions to be affected by a trifling incident. We are sensible persons and there is no misunderstanding which cannot be cleared when we both sit together.

I hope you also feel the same about it. What do you feel if you come to my place next Sunday at 5 p.m. and have a cup of tea with me.
