My college work is over with the close of the Inter Exami­nation. I propose to spend my summer vacation visiting a few interesting places in the South such as Trivandrum, Madurai, Madras and Rameshwaram. The tour is likely to be over in about twenty days.

I think it will be useful if I take a camera with me so that I shall be in a position to have time to have some photographs of striking scenes of the beauty in these places. My camera has gone out of order and I shall not be able to get it back from Gwalior by the time I start for the South. I shall be much obliged if you could give me a loan of your camera for a few days. I shall return it in a good condition as soon as I come back.
