Dear father,

I recieved your letter and was pleased to know that everything is well at home. I am also fine here. My studies are going well.

You will be glad to know our school has arranged an educational tour to Agra. It is a 15-day trip. The team is scheduled to leave on 5th November and will be back on 20th November. There are twenty students in the team. We will go by bus. Our Vice-Principal Mr. Kang and our class teacher Mrs. Mathur are also going with us.

It is an educational tour. During the fifteen days, we shall ^be visiting different places of historical importance like Agra, Sikri and adjoining places of tourist interest. We will have first-hand knowledge about the places which we read in books. Certainly, it will add to our knowledge. Besides, this tour has recreational value as well. It will offer a change. I am very excited to go for the tour.

I request you to kindly allow me to join this tour. I hope you will not ignore my request. Also send me Rs. 2,000/- by money order to meet the expenses of this tour.
