My dear friend Tapu,

Yesterday, I happened to meet one of your classmates. He told me that you spend most of your time reading books and now you have been very weak. Is it true ? If yes, then why? I hate to believe that you never take part in games and outdoor activities.

I know you have always preferred books to physical exercise. But don’t you know, my friend, that all work and no play make Jack a dull boy? Do you really think that brain is the only thing that matters and health is of no concern? Well, to think of improving the brain is quite good. But if at the same time you neglect your body, your brain will be of no use. If you go on studying continually at full speed, your brain too will refuse to work.

Do take my advice then; take up some game, anything you like-football, cricket, hockey or badminton and devote some time to it everyday. It won’t be a waste of time, as you may be thinking. Rather, after an hour of healthy outdoor activity like this, you will return to your books with renewed zeal.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

Well, that much for today and let me not hear anymore that Tapu is a bookish.

With best wishes,

Yours very sincerely,

Sachin (Your Name)
