Mr. Dear Father,
Your letter informing me about the bad report sent by our Principal about me came to me this morning. I am really very sorry to be the cause of annoyance to you. No parents are satisfied to-receive a poor report about their son. I must tell you frankly the cause of this poor result.
First of all I joined this school very late on account of your transfer. The students were two months ahead in their studies in each subject. Secondly it was my own weakness. As it was a new place for me I got in to evil company. My selection of friends was not good. I got into the company of those friends who wasted their time in visiting pictures.
I am now applying my self whole heartedly to my books. I assure you that you will never receive such an ugly report again. I am really ashamed of it. Please do forgive me this time and give me another chance to improve myself.
