|Dear Father,

Thank you for your loving letter received today in the morning, from Bangalore. Of late, you have been moving and flying so fast that it became almost difficult to keep track of you. However, it is good news that you would remain in Bangalore for about a week before flying to larders.

I hope your business trip has been quite successful |as expected, and you are fully satisfied. 1 know papa, you are a shrewd businessman and a very competent negotiator. And so, success in business deals has almost become your birthright. However, you must take proper care of your health and avoid over exertion.

Nothing newsworthy has happened here. Mother had an attack of viral fever. She was under the treatment of our family doctor Mr. Jitendra Prasad. She is now well, though somewhat weak. The doctor has prescribed some tonics and advised proper rest. I hope she would be perfectly well within a week.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

Hope you would be back home by the 20th August. On 23rd August is your 50th birthday and we wanted to celebrate the occasion in a very grand fashion. Please confirm that you would be backing home before that happy day. We have already started making preparations for the gala day, and ordered the printing of invitation cards.

We look forward to your early and timely return. Mother misses you so much.

Yours affectionately,
