Dear Brother,

I am back from the trekking expedition. I am feeling fresh and fine. I am giving an account of my experiences of this expedition in this letter.

Sachin and I were selected from our school to participate in a 9-day trekking expedition in the beautiful valley of Gods in Himachal Pradesh. Raison was the base camp, we reported at it well in time. Soon we became very friendly with Rakesh, Manoj and Chanderkant from other places. We passed the second day in an acclimatization walk to Nagar. We spent the third day in orientation and stayed there overnight. The fourth day passed in visiting the Museum and Fort Art Gallery. On the fifth day, our trekking began to the luscious pastures of Rumsu. We enjoyed trekking to the maximum in the lap of nature, mountains and snow-covered tops. These seemed beckoning us ahead. Despite feeling tired sometime, we continued trekking. We did bird watching at Rumsu. Rakesh entertained us by his funny jokes. Chanderkant regaled us by mimicry.

The next day we trekked to the base of Chanderkhani Pass. The birch trees and Touch Snow Line simply enchanted us. The fresh water springs gave us an immense joy. We were back to Rumsu in the camp on the appointed day. We spent the next day bird watching again. I saw some rare birds there. I had never seen them before. Really, the nature is a great treasure of everything. The next day we trekked to Nagar. On the ninth day, we had a hearty breakfast. Finally, we attended the Farewell function and checked out for home. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy nature amidst the majestic snow peaks of the Himalaya.

Pay my regards to mummy and papa and love to little Sunni.

Your loving brother
