Most respectfully, I beg to state that PTI Sir has imposed on me a fine of Rs. 10.00 for being late yesterday by 20 minutes, for the morning assembly.
It so happened that while I was cycling to school in the morning, my cycle dashed against the pavement when I tried to save a street dog from accident. In this attempt, the front wheel of my cycle got slightly twisted. In the early hours of the morning it is impossible to find a mechanic who can repair a cycle. Therefore, I reached school on foot, dragging the cycle along with me. However, I shall be more careful in future.
Moreover, Sir, I belong to a poor family and cannot afford to pay this fine, 1 have been a very disciplined and obedient student and also a merit scholar. I have always achieved high first class marks, in the Board and school examinations. I am also the Secretary of our school Drama and Music Society.
