It is a painful condition in which rectal veins become dilated and distended, relapsing through the anal opening at the time of defecation. This causes pain and bleeding. It happens as a result of long term bowel sluggishness and constipation.

Yogic Management

The first step is to correct the constipation. The following program of yogic practices should be adopted:

Asana- Pawanmuktasana, Bhujangasana, Shalabhasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Vajrasana, Supta Vajrasana, Yoga Mudra
