What is the difference between a mineral and a rock?

Mineral:

A mineral is a homogeneous naturally occurring substance with a definable internal structure.

For example:

Limestone, cuprite, etc.

Rock:

A rock is an aggregate of different minerals.

For example:

The rock granite contains the minerals-quartz, feldspar and mica.
