Badkhal Lake is located on the western side of Faridabad district. This area has a rocky terrain; the lake is located almost in the middle of this terrain. It is at a distance of 31 kilometres from Delhi. On the Delhi-Mathura highway, a motorable road moves to the right due west, which is 3 kilometres long. It leads us to the Badkhal lake resort.

The lake was built in 1947 when two small hillocks were joined and a dam was constructed to check soil erosion. The dam has a length of 644.5 metres and a width of 6 metres. This site is an attractive tourist spot too.
