In this huge world, my mother is the person who loves me most. She looks after every desire of mine, and earnestly tries to fulfil it all inspite of any hardships she may encounter doing it.

She takes care of my work, my food, my health and above all, all my wishes. She loves me more than anyone else in this wide world, and of course, needless to say I also love her more than anyone else.

In my daily routine, she is all the time worried about my food, my studies, my homework, and all my little conveniences. For me, my mother is God on earth, as sometimes I wonder what God could be like, and at once I get an idea that HE must be like my mother.

It is truly said by some great man that, “God could not be everywhere so HE made mothers.” This in turn goes to prove my point that my mother is God on earth, sent to look after me and my needs, like God himself.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

To give an example of her devotion to me and my work, I will tell you of an incident that I remember. When I was just in the 2nd Standard, I hardly understood the meaning of an examination and all its serious implications.

She would come to school, sit in front of my classroom and complete for me all the questions answers I had left, or notes that I had not made.

When at home, she would take all the time she could spare to help me learning all that I had left and was to come in the examination. During the examinations, she would spend anxious moments wondering how I would do my papers.

Whenever I have fallen ill I have seen my mother shedding tears of anxiety and spending sleepless nights at my bed side. All this gives me the feeling that, if it was not for mother, life would not be possible; or rather life would be hell without her near me.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

Through all times, bad and good she has been my only inspiration and guide. All that I have learnt by way of discipline, good manners, kindness, generosity, and respect for elders is all from her. I do wonder what type of a different child I would have been if it was not for my mother.

I do wonder if any other child could ever have such a mother as mine. I am very proud of being her son, and I think that she is the best mother in the world.

She also on her side thinks that, I am the best child in the world; this is of course because we love each other too much. If not for myself, for the sake of my mother, I pray to God to make me a good boy and later in life a good adult whom she can always be proud of.

Oh God help me remain good and help me to be prosperous, as, this will make my mother happy. I feel that she deserves the reward of a good son for all the work and devotion she is putting in and will continue to. I know, no matter how big I become my mother will always treat me with tenderness of a child.
